This policy explains what information can reach GovIphone.org, what the current site does in the browser, where third parties may become involved, and which contact channel handles privacy requests.

If you email a GovIphone.org department, the message may include your email address, name, the content you choose to send, and attachments you choose to include. The public site does not currently use an embedded contact form, checkout form, or account-registration form.
The homepage ZIP checker and the Apply-page eligibility checker run in the browser. State, ZIP, qualifying-route, household-size, and income entries are used to calculate or display the on-page result. The current page code does not send those entries to GovIphone.org, an analytics endpoint, or a carrier endpoint.
Web hosting infrastructure can create standard request logs when pages are requested. Depending on the production host, those records can include an IP address, browser or user-agent information, requested URL, timestamp, response status, and technical security events. Hosting-provider retention and security controls can vary by provider.
The current public site build does not include third-party analytics tags, advertising pixels, or JavaScript that writes browser cookies. If those technologies are added later, this policy should be updated to identify the relevant categories and purposes before the change becomes part of the published site.
Clicking a department email address uses a mailto link. Your email application or email provider then handles the message. Email delivery can involve your provider, GovIphone.org's email provider, anti-spam systems, and network infrastructure outside the public website itself.
A carrier destination is governed by that carrier's own privacy terms after you leave GovIphone.org. Carrier enrollment may involve personal records that GovIphone.org does not collect through the public pages described in this policy.
Do not email EBT PINs, account passwords, banking passwords, full payment-card numbers, or unrelated identity records to GovIphone.org. For editorial corrections or support questions, send only the minimum information needed to identify the page, claim, carrier, or issue.
GovIphone.org uses HTTPS when deployed on a properly configured production host and is designed as a lightweight static publication with a limited browser-script footprint. No internet transmission or storage method can eliminate every security risk.
For a privacy question involving an email you sent to GovIphone.org, identify the message, date, department, and request. Requests can be sent to [email protected]. Applicable obligations can depend on the nature of the record and the service provider involved.
If the site's data practices materially change, the published policy should be revised and the update date changed. Readers can use the update date at the top of this page to identify the current version.
Include enough context to identify the record or interaction. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information.
